Tim Harvey is a sports and repetitive strain injury rehabilitation specialist. His clients have included members of the U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team (Team USA), the San Francisco 49ers, the Montreal Impact, and professional and amateur cyclists, runners, professional dancers, and musicians. Tim has also worked with employees of many high tech firms, including Applied Materials, Google, Adobe and Sun Microsystems. He has also worked as a sports massage therapist for triathlon events such as Wildflower, the San Jose International Triathlon, and the Full and Half Ironman, and has provided sports massage to Team Leukemia’s Team In Training members.
Tim has been in practice since 1991. Specializing in therapy for injury and mobility, he combines a variety of techniques including Soft Tissue Release©, a muscle-specific active isolated stretching technique designed to accelerate performance and recovery. This technique can relieve chronic pain in nine out of ten sufferers in just two to three weeks, including providing relief for carpal tunnel syndrome, failed back surgeries, non-responsive whiplash injuries and plantar fasciitis. Tim is also a board certified and licensed acupuncturist/herbologist and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.
Mingfang (Lisa) Qi is a specialist in Chinese Acupressure Massage and Chinese Hand Reflexology, which specifically addresses back and neck pain as well as helps to relax and rejuvenate the body by balancing the flow of qi (pronounced “chee”). Since coming to the U.S., she has helped many people from a wide range of backgrounds including engineers, teachers, lawyers, dancers as well as many employees of high-tech firms in Silicon Valley.
In practice since 2004, Mingfang studied her techniques and treatment protocols under two very famous doctors in China. To date, neither of her teachers have been to the U.S. This makes her a rare commodity, as she is the only person currently in the U.S. that practices these particular forms of massage therapy. Mingfang is also fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
Lisa Busse has been helping people for fifteen years in both the Health Care and High Tech industries. She specializes in Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu as well as Sports and Orthopedic Massage. The primary focus of her practice has been in the area of stress reduction and pain management. She has helped many people from a wide range of backgrounds including engineers, teachers, lawyers, dancers, athletes as well as many employees of high-tech firms in Silicon Valley.
